Russell Meadows Retirement Community is looking for compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) or Unregulated Care Workers (UCWs) to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure residents' well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
- Assist with mobility and dressing as needed.
- Review, document, and communicate relevant information about residents.
- Adhere to company policies, training protocols, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in home care, senior care, or a related field is an asset
- A compassionate attitude and a genuine interest in senior care.
- Ability to obtain a vulnerable sector check.
- Capability to handle physical tasks using proper techniques.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification or training in caregiving is advantageous.
- Shifts available: Day (7 am to 3 pm) and Evening (3 pm to 11 pm). Night (11pm to 7am)
- Compensation based on experience, qualifications and scheduled shifts.
