Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Chairside Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry
- Manage patient flow by seating patients, updating medical records, and scheduling appointments using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Provide post-procedure instructions to patients and answer their questions with professionalism
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and staff
- Support the front desk team with administrative tasks as needed, including greeting patients and managing patient records
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental assisting or related roles; familiarity with Epic, Dentrix, and CAD systems is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontics
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Strong understanding of infection control procedures and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Certification in dental assisting preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided for motivated candidates

Pay: $20.52-$22.00 per hour
