Canadian Blind Manufacturing Inc. (www.cdnblind.com), based in Richmond BC, has available the position of Project Manager.
Job descriptions:
· Conduct preliminary reviews of project drawings to evaluate constructability, quality assurance, and value engineering opportunities
· Prepare detailed scopes of work tailored to project requirements
· Manage tendering processes, including outreach to trades, contract negotiations, and final award of contracts
· Collaborate closely with consultants to ensure trade requirements are met in accordance with project specifications
· Develop comprehensive project schedules, coordinating with staff to maintain timelines and achieve key milestones
· Ensure compliance with company policies, codes, bylaws, safety standards, and jurisdictional regulations
Qualifications and requirements:
· Fluency in English
· Completion of a college or university program in construction or a related field
· Minimum 5 years of extensive experience as a Project Manager in construction
· Experience in high-rise construction is an asset
· Experience with windows and window wall systems is an asset
· Strong leadership abilities with proven skills in motivating and enabling teams to achieve targets and goals
· Self-motivated, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
· Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and projections
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation:
· $75,000 - $120,000 per annum
