Truck Transfer Driver (DZ/AZ) – Cross Border (Canada/USA)

Velocity Vehicle Transfers Inc. is seeking a reliable and professional Truck Transfer Driver to transport commercial vehicles between Canada and the United States several times per week.
This position is ideal for experienced commercial drivers who enjoy long-distance travel, working independently, and providing exceptional service to customers.
Compensation
- $380/day for overnight trips
- $30/day meal allowance for overnight trips
- Hotel accommodation reimbursed at a reasonable rate for overnight trips
- $25/hour for cross-border day trips
Responsibilities
- Safely transport commercial vehicles throughout Canada and the United States.
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Cross international borders while complying with all customs and documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate trip records and required paperwork.
- Report any vehicle concerns or mechanical issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding trip updates and scheduling.
- Deliver vehicles safely, professionally, and on time.
Requirements
- Valid DZ or AZ Driver's Licence.
- Must reside within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
- Eligible to enter the United States.
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR.
- Must be bondable.
- Strong knowledge of highway safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Must be available to work weekends, statutory holidays, extended hours, and overnight trips as required.
- Flexibility is essential, as trip schedules may vary based on customer demand and operational requirements.
