Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the strategic financial planning and stability of the company, utilizing advanced accounting software tools and industry best practices.
Duties
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to support decision-making processes.
- Conduct account reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Implement and maintain accounting systems such as QuickBooks to streamline processes.
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and ensure timely processing of payments.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies through audits and internal controls.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Provide strategic insights on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online.
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account analysis.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and accounting systems.
