Position: Full Time Residential Security Guards
Site: Condominium Properties in Mississauga | Etobicoke | Vaughan
Job Type: Full Time (Must be available for ALL shifts)
Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour
Start Date: As soon as possible. This role is for an existing vacancy, no upfront costs associated.
We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Security Guards to join our Residential team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Ontario Security License
- Must be able to write Special Occurrence Reports (SOR) and Daily Occurrence Reports (DOR).
- Conduct routine interior and exterior foot patrols of the facility grounds.
- Must have access to own transportation
- Available for ALL shifts ( no restrictions)
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of unauthorized entry or activity
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to ensure the security of the premises
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential security risks
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
Experience:
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is a plus
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Basic computer skills for report writing and incident documentation
