Role Overview:
As an Administrative Assistant at Cremasco Partners you will play a key role in managing and supporting a growing block of business across the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge-Guelph area. You will act as the main point of contact for group benefits plan members and clients, delivering top-tier service, resolving inquiries, supporting new enrollments, and ensuring the smooth administration of benefits programs. Furthermore, you will support the advisor team with the preparation of applications, marketing packages, renewals, and other documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Client & Member Support: Provide timely, professional support to group benefits plan members and clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to claims, eligibility, coverage, and plan administration.
- Plan Administration: Manage and oversee day-to-day administration of group benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy terms.
- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any claims or coverage issues that arise, working closely with insurance carriers and third-party vendors to find solutions.
- Renewal Support: Assist with group benefit plan renewals by gathering necessary information, preparing documentation, and working with clients to ensure their plans meet evolving business needs.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of client interactions, claims, and plan updates. Prepare reports as needed for clients or internal teams.
- Client Education: Act as a resource for clients and members, educating them on the features and benefits of their plans to maximize utilization and satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external teams, including advisors, sales, underwriting, and claims management to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
- Sales: While not required there exists the ability to enhance income through fostering and cultivating sales opportunities
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in group benefits administration, claims, or customer service, ideally within an insurance, benefits, or HR services environment.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of group benefits plans, insurance products, and the claims process. Experience with various benefits software platforms is an asset.
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications: Life Insurance License, Group Benefits Associate (GBA) or other relevant industry certifications are a plus, though not required.
- Location: This is an in office position based out of the office in Guelph.
