Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with assembly of light gauge steel framing packages.
Supermod is a modular home building company based in Campbell River.
Currently we are looking for 2 laborers to assist with assembling light gauge steel framing packages, with the opportunity for growth within the company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks such as material handling, site cleanup, and setup.
- Assembly of light gauge steel framing packages.
- Operate hand tools, power tools.
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Heavy lifting is a requirement
Experience
- Construction experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools
- Strong work ethic with the willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects
