Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Hot Tub Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hot tubs and related equipment. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. The Hot Tub Technician will ensure that clients' hot tubs operate safely and efficiently, contributing to their overall satisfaction and enjoyment.
Duties
- Install new hot tubs and related systems according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hot tubs, including electrical and mechanical components
- Diagnose issues using schematics and mechanical expertise
- Repair or replace faulty parts such as pumps, heaters, jets, and control panels
- Conduct water testing and treatment to ensure optimal operation
- Provide professional guidance and advice to customers regarding system operation and maintenance
- Assemble hot tubs on-site or in the shop as needed
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
Qualifications
- Electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Basic plumbing knowledge is a must
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliances, pumps and motors
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently and accurately
- Prior experience working with hot tubs or similar recreational equipment is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments
