We're looking for a Purchasing Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems, building supplier relationships, and finding opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. What You'll Do
- Source and purchase materials, products, and services to support manufacturing and project requirements
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing, lead times, and service agreements
- Issue and manage purchase orders while ensuring materials arrive on time and meet quality expectations
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate annual and cycle counts
- Analyze supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Resolve supply chain challenges including shortages, delays, backorders, and quality concerns
- Work closely with production, project management, and other departments to support project schedules
- Develop and maintain a reliable supplier network that supports company growth
- Contribute ideas that improve purchasing processes, inventory management, and overall operational efficiency
What You'll Bring
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
