About the Job
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associate to represent Bloomstar in our retail environment.
This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting floral products, and ensuring the store remains organized and welcoming. The ideal candidate has a passion for flowers, strong interpersonal skills, and thrives in a fast-paced retail setting.
Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales

Welcome customers with a friendly and helpful attitude.

Provide product information, pricing details, and after-sales care.

Suggest products or services that best meet customer needs and preferences.

Inform customers about discounts, promotions, and loyalty programs.

Handle merchandise returns courteously and efficiently.
Cash Transactions
-
Ring up sales, process payments, and handle refunds accurately.

Handling cash transactions accurately (receiving, counting, and giving change)

Operating cash registers and point of sale (POS) systems
-
Processing different payment types (cash, debit, credit, gift cards)

Providing customer service while managing transactions efficiently
Store Presentation & Inventory

Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Set up and arrange product displays on the sales floor.

Unpack and organize product orders while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Share customer feedback and suggestions with the Store Manager.

Qualifications

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.

Comfortable lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
