Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable SECURITY GUARD to ensure the safety and security of our client facilities, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle various security situations effectively. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security roles is highly valued, along with certifications in first aid and CPR.
Responsibilities
- Monitor site premises through surveillance systems such as CCTV to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Conduct regular patrols of the site grounds to ensure safety protocols are being followed.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring first aid or CPR.
- Enforce site rules and regulations to prevent loss prevention and unauthorized access.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills to de-escalate disputes.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with site management regarding security concerns.
- Assist in coordinating emergency evacuations or lockdown procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or other emergency services as needed during incidents.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or professional security roles is preferred.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable.
- Experience with surveillance systems such as CCTV is a plus.
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques and loss prevention strategies is beneficial.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48.0 – 60.0 per week
