We pride ourselves on being a highly trusted partner that listens to your needs. Rather than a 'one-size-fits-all' approach, our team designs and manufactures customized flow pack machines.
What will you do?
The following outlines example responsibilities, which may be adjusted based company priorities and your skillset.
1. Installation (15%) – Install and integrate different modules based on customers’ needs.
2. Testing, Modification, Troubleshooting & Commissioning (50%) – Test and modify machines.
3. Documentation & Reporting (5%) – Document problems and report to engineers.
4. Collaboration & Support (10%) – Work with engineers to improve system designs and provide training and support to operators and maintenance staff.
5. FAT & SAT (10%) – Participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
6. Others (10%) – Other assigned tasks.
Skills:
1. Solid Knowledge and interaction of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
2. Analytical ability to solve problems and determine root causes.
3. Hands-on experience with power tools including lathe and milling machine operations (welding experience preferred)
4. Ability to work both independently and within a team.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings (CAD experience is a plus).
6. Familiarity with industrial automation, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics is beneficial.
7. Ability to self-manage time and resources to achieve objectives.
Qualification:
1. Willingness to travel to customer sites as required (10-25%).
2. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
3. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
4. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
5. Background in the packaging machinery industry and industrial automation is an asset, but not required
6. Willingness to learn new skills.
7. Strong awareness of workplace safety practices and ability to follow WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety procedures.
8. Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50lbs, standing for extended periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$42.68 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
