Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality resident care in various medical settings, demonstrating compassion and professionalism. We are looking for someone who is willing to commit to weekends and days during the week.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Assist with resident assessments and admissions
- Provide wound care and other nursing interventions
- Educate residents and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Provide support and supervise the Assisted Living Workers during the shift.
Experience:
- Previous experience in nursing, particularly in areas such as Dementia care, Hospice care, Nursing home, Hospital, and Home care is preferred
- Experience in patient care including ABI and mental health
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate attitude towards residents and their families
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new healthcare practices
