BlackStar Solutions Inc. is a Newfoundland and Labrador–based vegetation management and civil operations company built on one simple principle:
Strong teams build strong companies.
We operate with a safety-first mindset, lead with integrity, and treat our teammates, clients, and the public with professionalism and respect. Our focus isn’t just on getting the job done — it’s on building a culture where people are proud of their work, proud of their team, and confident in the direction we’re heading.
As we continue to grow and professionalize our operations, we’re looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic who wants to be part of something bigger than just turning wrenches.
The Role
Our Heavy Duty Mechanic plays a critical role in keeping BlackStar moving.
You won’t just be fixing equipment — you’ll be protecting uptime, supporting operations, and contributing directly to the performance and morale of the field teams who rely on you.

- Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards

- Communicate clearly with Operations and field teams on equipment status
