Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Red Cross First Aid/CPR Instructor to join our team. This role involves delivering high-quality training sessions to individuals and groups, ensuring they acquire essential life-saving skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and experience in tutoring or classroom settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and informative First Aid and CPR training courses for diverse audiences.
- Assess participant understanding through practical demonstrations and assessments.
- Stay current with the latest Red Cross guidelines and updates to ensure training content is accurate and compliant.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions and active participation.
- Provide feedback and guidance to participants to enhance their learning experience.
- Promote safety awareness and preparedness within the community through effective instruction.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information and engage learners of varying backgrounds.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning styles and needs.
- Prior classroom experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for education is essential.
- Ability to motivate participants and foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere.
- Knowledge of First Aid, CPR, AED and related health safety topics is highly desirable but training can be provided if necessary.
