SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Ontario Works/Housing Services Program Manager, this position provides secretarial, accounts payable/receivable and administrative services.

KEY RESPONISIBLITIES OF POSITION
- Serve as a group leader for administration service activities within office.
- Process all housing applications, including intakes, updates and annual reviews.
- Assist with administrative duties for current Housing Portfolio, 1 Rent Supplement Project, and 1 Private Special Needs Non-Profit Portfolios.
- Serve as a liaison between office and internal CDSB departments.
- Assistance to ensure continuous, efficient process for administrative services.
- Prepare monthly summary of all rent transactions.
- Use of property management software.
- Post Accounts receivable transactions to Sub ledger.
- Facilitate/refer on-site property management user issues.
- To provide administrative backup to others including but not limited to Case Aide, and Maintenance Operational Clerk.
- Maintaining office supplies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a property management environment
- Experience in a landlord-tenant environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate applied computerized systems, report requirements, editing and updating, verifying information correct
- Proficient with applied office information technology systems including Yardi, Excel
- Must be self-motivated, energetic, well organized with the ability to manage a varied time sensitive workload
- Diploma in office administration or business administration with related experience or a combination of education/experience acceptable to the employer
- Working knowledge of residential property management practices, including the Housing Services Act and Regulations, CDSB Housing Services policies, and residential leases
