We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, fostering strong relationships, and driving business development initiatives. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to analyze market trends to effectively negotiate and close sales opportunities. This a role working with First Responders in Newfoundland & Labrador, as such there needs to be a level of dedication and respect to this community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Analyze client requirements and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Demonstrate and show products with clients to secure profitable sales.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.
- Monitor account performance and implement strategies for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and market trends.
- Lead initiatives for business development by identifying potential clients and creating tailored proposals.
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage client interactions and track sales activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management or a related field, with a strong understanding of sales processes.
- Fire service or first responder experience an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market data and client needs for informed decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate sales successfully while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Experience in business development, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among colleagues.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is preferred but not mandatory.
