Position Overview
Independent Contractor (Full-Time Hours Available). The Woodworking Production Associate will assist with the manufacturing, assembly, sanding, finishing, and packaging of woodworking products in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely
- Sand, assemble, and finish wood products
- Read and follow work instructions and production drawings
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Assist with packaging and shipping preparation
- Support general shop duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous woodworking, manufacturing, or shop experience preferred
- Experience with saws, sanders, routers, or CNC equipment is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
