Crow PI is seeking an experienced surveillance investigator who genuinely enjoys investigative work and is motivated to achieve results.
We are looking for an investigator who is proactive, adaptable and prepared to go beyond basic mobile surveillance to obtain strong, court-ready evidence.
The ideal candidate:
Is comfortable leaving the vehicle and following subjects on foot or inside public locations, including stairwells.
Can obtain close-range covert video without compromising the investigation.
Understands how to properly frame, stabilize and sequence surveillance video.
Knows when to move closer, when to create distance and when to change tactics.
Can independently develop intelligence and investigative leads.
Is patient, discreet and willing to take the time required to obtain meaningful results.
Can manage long and unpredictable hours.
Enjoys travelling and working out of town.
Thrives in dynamic environments where circumstances can change quickly.
Is professional, dependable and capable of making sound decisions in the field.
Is comfortable preparing detailed reports and potentially testifying in court.
Loves being a private investigator and takes pride in producing quality work.
About CrowPI
We have been operating for 10 years and have developed a strong clientele base that is continually growing.
Our assignments are case-by-case and may involve several days, multiple weeks or, in some circumstances, months of investigative work. Hours can be long, and schedules may change as an investigation develops.
Our files are varied, challenging and often unconventional. No two investigations are the same.
We prioritize discretion above everything else. We rarely rely on door knocks, pretext packages or rushed investigative tactics. We develop intelligence organically, assess the circumstances carefully and allow investigations to unfold properly.
Many of our files proceed to litigation. Investigators must therefore produce accurate notes, professional reports and court-ready video evidence. You should expect that, at some point, you may be required to testify regarding your observations and investigative methods.
This opportunity may be ideal for you if:
You are an experienced investigator who has become frustrated with repetitive insurance-claims assignments and wants to work on more interesting, meaningful and complex investigations.
We do not offer guaranteed full-time hours. However, our larger files can involve sustained assignments, lengthy surveillance days and extended periods of work.
We will also allow you to work elsewhere since we can not offer full-time.
