Social Media Coordinator | BodyMods Marketing Team
We’re looking for a creative, fast-moving Social Media Coordinator to help build and scale BodyMods’ presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
This is a hands-on role focused on content creation, editing, publishing, and community engagement across multiple studio locations. You’ll play a key role in bringing the BodyMods brand to life through engaging, trend-driven content that reflects the culture and aesthetics of the body modification space.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Capture and film content across studio locations (jewellery, piercings, tattoos, staff, and authentic in-studio moments)
- Collaborate with tattoo artists, piercers, and team members to build a consistent content pipeline
- Create, edit, and publish short-form video and visual content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Manage day-to-day posting, including feed content and stories
- Monitor and engage with the community through comments, DMs, Google Reviews and customer emails.
- Identify and source influencers aligned with the BodyMods brand, and coordinate collaborations and partnerships
- Support the BodyMods Brand Ambassador Program (Mod Squad) by managing communications, ensuring requirements are met, and following up on deliverables
- Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with marketing priorities
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute campaigns, promotions, and quarterly content plans
- Design supporting visual content and graphics for digital and in-studio marketing (using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)
- Manage and support paid social campaigns through Meta platforms to increase reach and engagement
- Track performance using platform analytics and tools like Google Analytics; provide insights to improve content and campaigns
- Stay at the forefront of social media trends, emerging tools, and industry best practices, proactively applying insights to our content strategy.
- Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and optimized for performance
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
- Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok content trends and formats
- Ability to quickly film, edit, and produce engaging short-form video content
- Good eye for storytelling, pacing, hooks, and visual composition
- Experience managing social media accounts (especially Instagram and TikTok)
- Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing apps (e.g., CapCut, After Effects)
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social media analytics tools
- Basic understanding of paid social, SEO, and performance metrics is an asset
- Highly organized with the ability to manage content across multiple locations
- Strong attention to detail, including proofreading and brand consistency
- Self-starter who can take direction and execute independently
- Based locally and able to travel between studio locations as needed
This is an on-site part-time role offering a strong opportunity to progress to full-time as the position and our brand presence grow.
