Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile person to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in the building trades that includes concrete formwork, experience with suspended slabs and concrete tilt up buildings along with heavy equipment operation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects within the Fraser Valley to Vancouver, utilizing a broad skill set to deliver high-quality results. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working with a variety of tools and schematics to bring construction visions to life.
Duties
- Perform concrete forming, and finishing to specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment is often required; candidates must be physically capable.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of concrete forming.
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings is essential.
- Hands-on skills with hand tools and power tools are highly desirable.
- Prior work involving concrete tilt up projects will be considered an asset.
Current Project Sites: Squamish, Surrey, Abbotsford, Burnaby and Langford (Vancouver Island).
Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
