Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Picker/Packer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and staging a wide range of products including paints, stains, brushes, rollers, spray equipment, landscaping materials (mulch, soil, stone), plants, tools, and safety gear.
Responsibilities
Order Picking:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves, bins, and yard locations based on work orders, pick tickets, or crew manifest sheets.
- Read and interpret job tickets to understand specific material requirements for each painting or landscaping project.
Packing & Staging:
- Pack orders securely using appropriate boxes, crates, or pallets to prevent damage during transport.
- Protect paint cans from crushing and seal lids tightly to prevent leaks.
- Stage completed orders in designated crew bays or loading zones for morning pickup.
Warehouse Organization & Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Organize shelving, bins, and pallet racking with clear labeling.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for temperature-sensitive products (paints, adhesives, plants).
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pay: $21.76-$25.81 per hour
