Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of concrete work, including pouring, finishing, and restoring concrete surfaces. This role requires a strong understanding of masonry techniques, and the ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely. The Concrete Laborer will play a vital role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various construction projects.
- Use hand tools and power tools to shape, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for site preparation and material handling.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
- Perform masonry work as required, including building walls and other structures.
- Restore and renovate existing concrete surfaces to improve aesthetics and functionality.
- Apply caulking to joints and seams as necessary for weatherproofing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Laborer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment related to concrete work.
- Strong understanding of masonry techniques and practices
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
