We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate individual for our resident services team as our new Assistant Resident Services Manager. You will deliver the services that provide the highest standards of quality, safety, and resident satisfaction. You will be responsible for staff management and compliance with health regulations. Additionally, you will promote wellness programs that support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Your role will be crucial in providing personalized and compassionate support that meets the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
The Assistant Resident Services Manager supports the overall management of resident care services, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Working closely with the Manager of Resident Services, you will provide leadership to care staff, oversee daily clinical operations, support staff development, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. This role also involves fostering an employee culture of excellence, collaboration, and resident well-being while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Minimum Education & Certification: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current license in good standing. Additional certification in gerontology, leadership, or healthcare management is an asset.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in senior care, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge & Abilities: Strong understanding of resident-centered care, infection prevention and control, medication administration, and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and care planning systems.
Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team, foster a positive work environment, and communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to assess situations, make informed decisions, and implement solutions that enhance care quality and operational efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of applicable provincial/federal regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in senior living and healthcare.

Pay: $31.35-$33.00 per hour
