We’re looking for an experienced, motivated In-Home Sales Consultant to help homeowners understand their Poly B replacement options and guide them through the sales process.
This is not a cold-calling position.
We generate the leads—you close the sales.
What You’ll Do
You’ll meet homeowners in their homes, inspect their plumbing system, prepare accurate estimates, explain the replacement process, and help customers make informed decisions.
A successful consultant should be able to:
- Identify Poly B plumbing systems
- Count and identify every plumbing fixture accurately
- Understand residential plumbing layouts
- Recommend optional upgrades where appropriate
- Explain our installation process with confidence
- Build trust with homeowners
- Prepare professional estimates
- Follow up and close sales
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who has worked in residential plumbing or home renovations and understands how homes are built.
We would strongly prefer someone who is:
- A Journeyman Plumber
- A Plumbing Apprentice
- A former plumber
- A residential service plumber
- A renovation contractor
- A general contractor with plumbing knowledge
If you’ve actually installed plumbing systems or completed Poly B replacements, you’ll have a huge advantage.
You should know:
- Fixture locations
- Plumbing layouts
- Water distribution systems
- Mechanical rooms
- How access holes are cut
- How projects are prepared
- Common plumbing fixtures and upgrades
- Residential construction methods
We’re looking for someone who can walk through a home and immediately understand how the project will be completed.
Compensation
This is a 100% commission position with no earning cap.
You’ll be paid on every project you sell, with additional commission opportunities for approved upgrades and add-ons.
Examples include:
- Shower valve replacements
- Water softeners
- Water filtration systems
- Hose bib replacements
- Additional plumbing upgrades
- Other approved accessories and services
The more value you create for the customer, the more you earn.
Top performers have the opportunity to earn $150,000–$300,000+ per year.
Leads Provided
Urban Piping invests heavily in marketing.
We typically generate 5–20 qualified homeowner leads every day, and our office schedules appointments directly for our sales team.
That means:
- No cold calling

Your job is to meet qualified homeowners, provide a professional consultation, and close the sale.

Requirements
