Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bell Person to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services by assisting guests with their luggage, offering directions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is vital in creating a positive first impression and enhancing the overall guest experience. Multilingual and bilingual skills are highly valued to accommodate our diverse clientele. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. The Bell Person will work closely with front desk staff to ensure seamless guest interactions and uphold the high standards of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage handling
- Escort guests to their rooms or designated areas within the property
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Assist with transportation arrangements and parking restrictions
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold excellent phone etiquette when communicating with guests or vendors
- Support front desk operations as needed, including handling multi-line phone systems and guest inquiries
- Ensure the lobby and surrounding areas are tidy and welcoming at all times
- Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding guest services and resolve any issues promptly
- Setting banquet rooms for meetings
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality industry preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
- Excellent communication skills, including multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest service protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads such as luggage
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
