This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in Ontario and will support Long Term Care (LTC) facilities in Ontario (Ottawa, Kingston and GTA).
We’re looking for a Staffing Manager to help support exceptional care delivery across our homes!
Lifemark Seniors Wellness is a leading provider of specialized rehabilitation and wellness services for older adults living in long-term care, retirement homes, and community settings across Ontario. As part of the Lifemark Health Group network, Lifemark Seniors Wellness delivers physiotherapy, occupational therapy, foot care, falls prevention, mobility assessments, and therapeutic exercise programs designed to help seniors maintain independence, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life. With more than 35 years of experience and CARF-accredited programs, Lifemark Seniors Wellness partners with healthcare organizations, retirement residences, and long-term care homes to provide evidence-based, resident-centered care that supports healthy aging and optimal outcomes.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations, you will play a key part in ensuring our teams are supported and our homes have the right people in place to meet the evolving needs in Long Term Care (LTC). Working closely with the Regional Leadership, you will help drive staffing solutions, strengthen team capacity, and ensure seamless service delivery.
In this role, you will:

Support staffing strategies for permanent and casual coverage

Identify, interview, and welcome talented PT/PTA professionals

Coordinate onboarding and integration of new team members

Optimize schedules and responding to changing operational needs

Review staffing trends, hours accountability, and create proactive solutions

Support performance reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives

Anticipate risks and help teams stay prepared for future needs
What we’re looking for:

1 to 3 years of experience in staffing, workforce planning, recruitment, scheduling, operations, or a related healthcare environment

Experience in Long Term Care or Clinical Setting would be considered a strong asset

Experience supporting multi-site operations, preferably within healthcare, rehabilitation, long-term care, retirement living, or community care settings

Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with leaders, clinicians, and cross-functional teams

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing staffing challenges

Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing staffing metrics, utilization reports, and workforce trends to support decision-making

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams

Experience with scheduling, workforce management, or applicant tracking systems is considered an asset

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment

Knowledge of Long-Term Care, rehabilitation services, or allied health professions is considered an asset
