Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Truck Driver Key Responsibilities
· Deliver/dispose waste in truck in a safe and professional manner.
· Performs daily routine vehicle inspection.
· Records delivery ticket information.
· Maintains the interior, exterior and truck clean when required.
· Acts as a liaison between the customer and the dispatch office.
Qualifications
· Related industry experience.
· Possession of a valid DZ Driver’s License in good standing.
· 1-year minimum commercial heavy driving experience. 3 years experience is considered an asset.
· Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language.
· General knowledge of Ottawa and surrounding areas.
· Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
Work Environment Normal setting for this job is: Driving highways, suburbs and rural roads
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
