About Us
Takumi Japanese BBQ & Ramen is a fast-paced Japanese yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) and ramen restaurant focused on great food, friendly service, and an enjoyable dining experience. We are looking for energetic, responsible, and team-oriented servers to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Explain menu items, BBQ grilling process, and promotions to guests
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
- Monitor tables and assist guests throughout their dining experience
- Refill drinks, replace grill nets when needed, and clear tables efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area and service stations
- Complete opening, side work, and closing duties
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy hours
- English speaking required; additional languages are an asset
- Smart Serve certification preferred (for Ontario locations)
