Mr. Lube is hiring Automotive Service Technician / Advisors for our new Sault Ste. Marie location.
This hybrid role is ideal for individuals who enjoy both hands-on automotive work and customer interaction. Team members will perform preventative maintenance services while also assisting customers with vehicle recommendations, maintenance education, and service consultations.
We are looking for motivated individuals with strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and preventative maintenance services
- Inspect vehicle fluids, filters, tires, and batteries
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Explain recommended services and maintenance options to customers
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
- Prepare service recommendations and assist with sales opportunities
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service
Qualifications
- Previous automotive service or mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Sales or service advisor experience is considered an asset
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented
- Ability to perform physical work and heavy lifting when required
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
