Our client in the furniture industry is looking for an EXPERIENCED Upholstery Sewing Machine Operator who can sew manually and use a sewing machine to sew fabrics and upholstery items together.

FULL TIME JOB. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 40 HOURS A WEEK.

Location : North York (Dufferin and Steeles)
Morning shift: Mon-Fri 730am-4pm;
Wage: $18.00 - $22 per hour
Job Duties and Requirements
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Previous experience operating an Industrial Sewing Machine is required
- Operating a sewing machine to sew fabric for furniture
- Thread machine, change needles and adjust tension as required
- Use and understand basic measurements
- Ability to thread sewing machine and make simple adjustments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs
- Adhere to proper health and safety protocol.
- Responsible for quality control and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of single and double stitches
