Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Abatement Worker to join our team in safely removing hazardous materials and restoring affected environments. This role involves working in construction and restoration settings, utilizing various tools and techniques to ensure safe and effective abatement processes. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in cleaning, construction, and the use of hand and power tools, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
Duties
- Safely remove hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead-based paint, or mold from buildings and structures
- Prepare work sites by setting up and tearing down containment areas and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform abatement tasks
- Assist with demolition, cleaning, and restoration activities as needed
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to minimize risk during abatement procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and properly dispose of hazardous waste according to regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Must have abatement ticket (required)
- Must have prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Knowledge of construction or environmental restoration processes is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting, bending, and working at heights if necessary
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred
- Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to safety standards at all times

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
