Job Summary
Amosa Logistics is seeking an experienced and results-driven Dispatcher to optimize our fleet operations. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of North American freight logistics and a proven track record in managing Dry Van and Refrigerated (Reefer) segments, with specific experience handling Amazon and General Market Freight operations.
Your primary objective will be to maximize fleet utilization, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain seamless communication between drivers, brokers, and high-volume accounts.
Core Responsibilities:
- Freight Sourcing & Dispatch: Coordinate and dispatch truck drivers for Dry Van and Reefer loads across both General Freight Markets (Spot/Broker/Contract) and dedicated lanes.
- Amazon Account Management: Book and manage loads via Amazon Relay, strictly monitoring appointment windows and ensuring top-tier on-time performance (OTP).
- Route & Schedule Optimization: Plan and monitor delivery schedules, optimal routing, and driver assignments to maximize fleet efficiency and meet deadliness.
- Reefer Monitoring: Ensure constant temperature control tracking and proper handling of refrigerated freight during transit.
- Driver Communication: Maintain regular communication with drivers to provide real-time updates, support them on the road, and ensure adherence to delivery plans.
- In-Transit Problem Solving: Assist in resolving delivery delays, equipment breakdowns, or border/broker issues in real time.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure drivers are in full compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and company safety policies.
- Data Tracking: Track and maintain accurate digital records of driver logs, mileage, load confirmations, and any transit incidents.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ELD tracking platforms, and load boards (DAT, Loadlink, Truckstop) for efficient dispatch operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with brokers, customers, and operations teams to ensure a seamless, high-quality delivery process.
Minimum 2 years dispatch experience with USA/CANADA dispatching!!!
Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
