Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Lumber Grader / Piler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves inspecting, grading, and stacking lumber to ensure quality standards are met, while maintaining efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with woodworking tools, warehouse operations, and safety protocols, contributing to the production of high-quality wood products.
Duties
- Inspect and grade lumber
- Operate forklifts and power tools to move, stack, and organize lumber safely within the warehouse or production area
- Pile and arrange lumber according to size, grade, or order specifications for easy access and transportation
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklift or manual handling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the work area to ensure a secure environment for all team members
Requirements
- experience in warehouse operations, woodworking, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation and safety procedures
- Knowledge of , power tools, hand tools.
Hours are 49.5 a week
Monday to thursday 7-5 and fridays 7-4:30
Paid weekly every thursday direct deposit.
