Position Overview:
As an Inside Sales Representative at Pioneer Family Pools, you will play a vital role in connecting with customers to understand their needs and guide them in selecting the perfect products for their backyard. This position is based in our Vaughan retail store and is integral to our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Training will be provided for all products sold in stores.
This role focuses primarily on the sale of above-ground (AG) pools, spas, and saunas. AG pool sales are busiest during the spring and summer seasons, while spa and sauna sales continue steadily year-round. We exclusively carry the Watkins family of brands, including HotSpring Spas, HotSpot, Caldera, Endless Pool, and Fantasy Spas.
Schedule: Must be available to work weekends while in season.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support a strong commitment to superior and genuine customer service by exerting compassion, knowledge and empathy to all customers and associates.
- Drive sales through engaging both customers and associates with accurate and practical product knowledge.
- Assist and follow up with on-line leads and support lead generation efforts.
- Track all Pool & Spa sales into provided excel spreadsheets & Commission reports.
- Collect all outstanding payments before delivery or install, manage the A/R list.
- Provide the customer a full pool & or spa orientation within Pioneer Family Pools guidelines.
- Use Pioneer Family Pools core values and principles to deliver a positive, friendly and pleasant experience while exceeding our customers’ expectations.
- Maintain at all times a clean, friendly, sales ready retail floor that is aligned with Pioneer Family Pools Corporate guidelines & expectations.
- Assist all customers on the retail floor and answer any questions. Greet & approach visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Drive the importance of developing satisfied customers leading to online reviews, and word of mouth marketing.
- Handle complex and escalated customer service issues to ensure a high level of response time and proper problem resolution
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in retail sales, preferably in the pool and spa industry, is a plus.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot is considered an asset.
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
