Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Part-time Sales Lead to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales, enhancing customer experience, and supporting store operations. Duties
- Lead and motivate sales associates to achieve individual and team sales targets
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide exceptional customer service, and build lasting relationships
- Oversee merchandising efforts to ensure attractive product displays and proper inventory presentation
- Handle POS transactions accurately, including cashiering, pricing adjustments, and returns
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviews and onboarding new team members
- Manage payroll processing and maintain accurate records of employee hours
- Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure stock levels meet customer demand
- Supervise store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote store products and events
- Conduct training & development sessions for team members to enhance their skills
- Assist in budgeting, sales management, and inventory control to optimize store performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer service protocols
Skills
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases
- Proven experience in retail sales, supervising teams, or store management roles
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
- Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing techniques, and purchasing processes
- Leadership qualities with experience in team management, training & development, and supervising staff
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service expertise with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills
- Competence in budgeting, payroll processing, marketing initiatives, and retail management software
- Strong math skills for pricing calculations and financial record keeping
