Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Millwright to install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment in agricultural operations. This role involves working with grain handling equipment, conveyors, bins, mixers, and related systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and welding skills, a valid Millwright Certificate, is safety-conscious, and thrives in both independent and team environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Installation & Assembly: Set up grain elevators, conveyors, bins, dryers, augers, and related systems. Assemble motors, gearboxes, pulleys, bearings, and drive shafts. Assist with in-shop and on-site equipment setups.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Inspect and diagnose mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Welding & Fabrication: Weld mixer liners and high-wear components using MIG/stick techniques. Fabricate or modify parts as needed. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all company safety policies, use PPE, implement lockout/tagout protocols, and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Field Service & Customer Interaction: Provide on-site service at farms and agri-businesses. Communicate professionally with clients and represent the company with integrity.
- Other Duties: Operate and maintain tools, support team projects, document work, and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Certified Millwright (mandatory)
- 3+ years of mechanical or millwright experience, preferably in agriculture
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication (MIG/stick)
- Familiarity with grain handling systems, mixers, and material handling equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical layouts

Working Conditions:
