We are currently seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Drywall/ Steel Stud Estimator to join our team.
Must have min 2-3 years experience in drywall estimation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review bid packages from sub-contractors and suppliers and take ownership of estimating input and preliminary construction schedule
- Obtain competitive pricing from outside vendors
- Collect pricing and create estimations for current tenders
- Maintain tendering processes, and cost monitoring and reporting systems
- Review specifications, pricing, and competitive quotes received for accuracy
- Review designs to identify opportunities for cost savings without sacrificing quality
- Assist, as assigned, in finalizing and awarding of subcontracts
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience with drywall, steel stud, light gauge & heavy gauge structural framing, moveable partition
- Certificate, diploma or degree in Construction or a related field
- Established network and ability to proactively drive sales and secure leads
- Experience in construction cost estimating
- General construction knowledge; understands practices, techniques, specifications, procedures and equipment
- Must have great interpersonal skills, strong communication and be motivated to succeed
