Heavy Equipment & Transport Operator – Lloydminster, AB
Vantek Consulting is seeking a dependable Heavy Equipment & Transport Operator to support our field operations based out of Lloydminster. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment and commercial vehicles in support of environmental, oilfield, and industrial projects.
- Transport equipment and materials to various job sites.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance requirements.
- Complete field work safely while following company procedures and client expectations.
- Work collaboratively with crew members to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with Air Brake (Q) endorsement.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
- Previous experience in the oilfield, agriculture, construction, or related industries is considered an asset.
- Valid safety certifications and oilfield tickets are beneficial but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, when operational requirements demand.
Preferred Education
Post-secondary education in environmental sciences, environmental technology, or a related discipline is an asset but not mandatory.

Competitive wages will be offered based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications.
