Breton CNC Stone Operator
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Breton CNC Operator with direct Breton CNC operating experience. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience setting up and operating Breton CNC machinery within a stone fabrication environment.
This role is responsible for producing precise, high-quality stone components by operating Breton CNC equipment for cutting, shaping, drilling, profiling, and finishing natural stone, quartz, porcelain, and other slab materials.
Applicants must have previous Breton CNC experience. Candidates without Breton CNC experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Breton CNC machinery for stone fabrication
- Set up and run Breton CNC programs for cutting, drilling, shaping, and profiling
- Load and position stone slabs accurately using proper handling procedures
- Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and CNC files
- Verify finished pieces meet project specifications and quality standards
- Perform machine setup, tooling changes, and basic troubleshooting
- Monitor production quality and make adjustments as required
- Complete routine machine cleaning and maintenance checks
- Identify and report equipment or production issues
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and PPE requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Breton CNC operating experience in a stone fabrication environment
- Strong knowledge of Breton CNC machinery, operation, and setup
- Experience working with quartz, granite, porcelain, marble, and other stone materials
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic CNC operation issues
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Breton software and CNC programming
- Experience in custom countertop fabrication
- Knowledge of stone fabrication processes from slab to finished product
- Experience working in a high-end residential or commercial fabrication shop
