The IT Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for all IT-related support requests, providing timely and effective technical assistance to internal users. This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and account-related issues, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role supports the end user’s productivity, maintaining IT systems and contributing to the overall stability and security of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support requests
Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and user access
Accurately document incidents, resolutions, and processes within IT service management systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
Manage the deployment and upkeep of company assets while maintaining accurate inventory records, asset tracking, and thorough documentation.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related systems
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

Hybrid environment, requiring at least one day in office per week

Ability to be part of a rotating afterhours on-call schedule

Ability to lift and move equipment (typically up to 30–50 lbs)

Occasional exposure to noise, dust, or varying temperatures in equipment areas

Use of tools for hardware installation and repair

Travel approximately 10% of the time
Education/Experience:
-
1 Year Experience in a help desk or related role preferred
-
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
-
End-User focused mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members and other users within the organization

Strong knowledge or experience with Windows and Microsoft 365 products, Azure, Active Directory, ITSM and MDM platforms.
