What We Offer

- $20.00–$21.00 per hour based on experience
- Part-time — 22–24 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime only, no evenings, no weekends
- Start date: June 1
- Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit

What You’ll Do
Your role, day to day.
As a Westshore Janitor, you will maintain three sites in the Westshore area to a consistently high standard, traveling between locations during your shift and representing KHC professionally at every site.
- Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, washrooms, and shared spaces
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas
- Remove garbage and recycling and restock supplies as needed
- Follow established KHC cleaning systems and site-specific procedures
- Travel between assigned Westshore sites during your shift
- Report maintenance concerns, hazards, or supply needs to management
- Handle cleaning products safely in accordance with WHMIS guidelines
- Communicate professionally with your manager and building occupants where needed

What We’re Looking For
We hire for attitude first. Skills can be taught, character cannot.
You must:
- Currently reside in Greater Victoria, BC
- Have your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence — this is a non-negotiable requirement
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship available)
- Be punctual, reliable, and comfortable working independently
- Communicate professionally and follow established routines and systems
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and high personal standards
You'll stand out if you:
- Have previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience
- Are familiar with WHMIS standards and safe chemical handling
- Want long-term stability — not just a temporary role
A reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence are required for this position. Please do not apply if you do not have consistent access to your own transportation.
