We are seeking an individual who are :
- Dependable, flexible, and reliable
- Loves working with children and supporting their growth and development
- Fluent in reading and writing in English
- A team player who works well with others
- Has a strong work ethic and a positive, professional attitude
- Engages effectively with children, families, and fellow staff
- Understands and applies the principles of How Does Learning Happen? (HDLH) and DROC
- Capable of conducting observations and documentation to support children's learning
Qualifications:
- Valid Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) certification or equivalent experience
- Up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Knowledge of child development, HDLH, and DROC
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare setting is an asset

- Support RECEs and staff in delivering high-quality, developmentally appropriate programming
- Build warm, responsive relationships with children and families
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
- Participate in daily routines, observations, and documentation
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture
