We are currently seeking an experienced Shop Foreperson to lead our maintenance team in Collingwood, Ontario. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a licensed technician who takes pride in safety, organization, and mentoring others.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of technicians and service staff
- Schedule and prioritize daily maintenance and repair work
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on buses and fleet vehicles
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and Ministry regulations
- Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation
- Coordinate parts ordering and inventory control
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to company policies
Requirements
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician License (MANDATORY)
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on fleet maintenance experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Ministry of Transportation (MTO) standards and inspections
- Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills
