Job Overview
We are seeking 2 apprentice Electricians to join our team. Job will be approximately 6-7 weeks long. Experience in commercial lighting will be given preference. The ideal candidate will have experience with residential and commercial environments, and have experience with commercial lighting, ballasts, lighting upgrades, and experience with working alone.
This position will have hours to be determined but flexibility is important as timing over the job(s) will likely change depending on the area being serviced.
Duties
- Lighting upgrade
- Read and interpret schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical lighting in commercial settings, including wiring, ballasts, and LED upgrades.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to perform electrical work on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Collaborate with construction teams and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work, including handling high-voltage systems when necessary
Experience
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Previous lighting experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high safety standards.
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to electrical work are advantageous
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
