Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across various locations. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards.

BASIC FUNCTION
Transportation of goods and materials from supplier to customer as directed by operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Represents the Company through conduct, performance, competency and appearance.
· Provides services to customer and company through transportation of goods and materials in a safe, timely, cost effective manner.
· Performs skilled labor while adhering to all Federal, Provincial, and Municipal rules and regulations.
· Exhibits competence and courtesy in the operation of registered motor vehicle on any thoroughfare or worksite.
· Assists with the updating of site specific JSA’s, Assists with hazard identifications, reports incidents and near misses to management.
RELATIONSHIPS
· Internal contracts- Daily contact with other Transport Operators, Operations Manager, Dispatch. Weekly contact with Accountant, Bookkeeper, CEO and Human Resource/Safety Coordinator.
· External contacts- Establishes public communications with customers, suppliers, vendors, while picking up and delivering goods and materials
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or equivalent, must be 25 years or older
o Special consideration given to rural background candidates (i.e. farming experience, used to running equipment) after interview and drive test
· Previous experience with long-haul driving
· Must have a valid class 1 driver’s license with clean abstract

· 5 years incident free driving experience in Canada

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
· Must Possess Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Ability to climb, bend, balance in office environment; must be able to move material and product weighing up to 70 lbs.
ASSETS
· Experience in operating under safety programs is an asset
· Experience in preparing WHMIS 2015 inventory, site specific JSA’s
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Must be physically able to sit for longer periods of time as well as be able to operate and maintain a commercial vehicle.
· Lifts and moves supplies weighing up to 70 lbs.
Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
