Economy Paving Ltd is currently hiring an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our growing construction team in Calgary and surrounding areas.
We specialize in commercial, municipal, and paving-related concrete projects and are looking for hardworking individuals who take pride in quality workmanship and safety.
Responsibilities
- Place, level, and finish concrete surfaces
- Finish sidewalks, curbs, gutters, ramps, slabs, and pads
- Operate power trowels, screeds, floats, and finishing tools
- Read grades and assist with forming and preparation
- Perform broom, smooth, and exposed finishes
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
- Work efficiently with crew members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of concrete finishing experience preferred
- Experience with commercial or municipal concrete considered an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends when required
