Position Overview
The Community Liaison Worker will support the expansion of youth programming and help strengthen connections between the Centre for Spiritual Living Edmonton’s youth programs and other youth-serving organizations and services throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, engaging with community members, and helping create meaningful opportunities for youth.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community members and stakeholders
- Attend community events, meetings, and forums to promote youth programming
- Identify community needs, concerns, and opportunities related to youth services
- Support communication between the organization and the broader community
- Assist with outreach and community engagement initiatives
- Prepare summaries and reports related to community feedback and activities
- Contribute ideas and strategies that enhance youth program visibility and impact
- Co-create with staff and volunteers in the design, delivery and evaluation of youth summer programs.
- Recommend actions to further grow our Youth (children and teen program) in the next 12 - 24 months.
- Participate in the delivery of current Sunday Youth programs during the Summer months.

Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in youth programming and community development
- Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of ages of children and youth
- Training in childhood development, education and behavior management approaches
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable engaging with diverse groups of people and ages
- English language proficiency required

This position will report to the Project Manager: Melanie Wong
And will be supported by the Education Director: Ash Fuller Rubin and Youth Program Leaders
Pay: $15.00 per hour
