Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining quality standards
- Handle cash and process payments accurately through cashiering systems
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, and service stations
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Follow all hospitality protocols to create a positive guest experience
- Front of house cleaning and light food prep
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems preferred
- Strong customer service skills required
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes
- Experience in upselling menu items and providing guest services in the food industry is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Serving it right certificate. Can be attained upon hiring.
